Levels of Quilters

Beginner:  Just has the desire to try something new, has minimal experience with cutting with a rotary cutter or using a sewing machine.

Confident Beginner:  Someone who has some experience with rotary cutting and machine sewing.  Someone who may still need some instruction to hone the skills.

Intermediate:  Someone who can make a quilt start to finish without instruction however likes to take a class to learn a new skill or technique to add to the repertoire.

Expert:  All those ladies we see on Simply Quilts who have book and lecture tours and appear at the quilt shows to teach classes.  Some area quilters are experts as well.  They know who they are.
